The island of Puerto Rico is still in dire need of our help. The Arts and Education committee of the
Puerto Rican Festival of Chicago
got together and decided to serve our homeland by bringing together a community of folks who appreciate art and service to Puerto Rico.
On Thursday February 27th, we’ll be at Granero in Logan Square hosting a silent auction of pieces donated by amazing Puerto Rican artist from the diaspora as well as allies from the Latinx community of Chicago. 100% of the proceeds will go to
a non profit organization that funds grassroots rebuilding efforts on the island due to Hurricane Maria and the recent earthquakes.
Im so grateful for all of the amazing, talented artist blessing the community with their skills so that we can support our people in their time of need.
